See below for some of my top tips for getting the most out of your life:

/ Put your wishes into action.  Having the wish is the first step to achieving whatever it is you want (this may be a healthier body or a new job for example). The crucial part is actually doing something about that wish be it going back to college, finding out what foods make you feel tired, etc.

/ Don’t ignore niggling aches and pains any longer.  These are your body’s warning signs which should be heeded to avoid things getting worse. So if you are suffering from a bloated tummy you could find out what the possible cause is such as food allergies, yeast overgrowth, etc. Listening to your body now could make a huge difference to your long term health.

/ Do some exercise every week.  Even ten minute slots, as and when you can, is much better than no exercise! Different exercises are enjoyed by different people and with such a wide scope going from yoga through to military fitness classes there is an activity to suit everyone.

/ Drink one and a half to two litres of water every day.  It is essential for your digestion, energy and helps keep headaches at bay. Increase your chance of success at drinking this amount by always carrying a bottle of water with you each day and ensure it is finished by the time you get home. If you find drinking plain water difficult add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice-this will also give your digestive system a kick start.

/ Eat with the seasons.   Now that we are in the middle of winter, eat lots of warming soups and casseroles to support your body’s increased requirement for warmth and protection from the cold environment. These warming foods help support your digestion and kidneys in the colder months. Invest in a slow cooker and come home to the gorgeous smell of just cooked food each day!
